I was at the taping of this show in Toronto and hated it. Although a fan of Celtic Thunder since the beginning, I am taken aback by the group’s departure from who they purport to be: celtic. The show looked like an amateur high school performance. Why in the world do they cover old american hits when they promised a celtic experience with a modern twist? Very disappointing. After 5 concerts, I’m out until they they bring back the excitement of songs like Caledonia, Ireland, Come By the Hills.

I purchased this product after taking a few classes in Word and Excel,and am SO impressed at the changes between 03 and 07!! MUCH easier to navigate.
Remembering World War II

Great machine. Easy to use and was easy to assemble. Works very well on my carpet especially when used with the Hoover deep cleansing shampoo. I have read some reviews on this cleaner saying it leaks. I read the directions,
made sure everything was seated properly and did not have one leak. You wouldn’t believe how dirty the water was especially this being a 6 month old home and having the carpets cleaned professionally 5 months ago. No children, no outside animals coming and we both take our shoes.
This cleaner has tremendous suction removing most of the liquid on the carpet which enhances the drying time. I especially light the scrubbing brushes (comes with two extra) as they really help with cleaning surface dirt, spills and other stuff. It is absolutely the best carpet cleaner I have ever owned.

We’ve had out Hoover for almost a year and a half now. We were amazed at how well it worked, and very pleased. With three dogs and a toddler, it got some use, but we maintained it very well, giving it a thorough cleaning after each use. It still LOOKS new.

When the brushes would stop working, per the manual, we cleaned the screen, and it worked again. The last time they stopped working, no such luck. Google was our friend here. After a quick search, we learned that it was the turbine gears that had seized up. I took it apart to verify, yep, that was the culprit. This is due to poor design on Hoover’s part, and is a well known issue. Moisture gets in the area, rusts the bearing and it seizes. Great.

The warranty is for one year. Funny how things fall apart after the warranty… but only 1 year on a $150+ cleaner? Many sites also claim that Hoover won’t do anything about it. I figured I would call and see if that was the case. After 3 calls to customer service, we were told we were out of luck. Yep, they were aware of the issue, but they were able to wash their hands clean of it since it is over a year old.

We could take it to a repair center and get it done… at our expense. We could order the part from a repair center… at our expense, or we could buy a Bissel. Even though it is a well known issue, Hoover didn’t want to do anything about it. That is unfortunate. While it is a great product when it works, prepare yourself for a maintenance cost. The part costs about $45 (including shipping) to replace and only take you about 20 minutes. Nothing like adding 33% to the overall cost for maintenance.
Anxiety

I have used and repurchased the standard mount that came with the purchase of my navigation system, and it has disappointed me more than once. I hated that I had to stick something on my dash and that I had problems with the suction cup holding my nav in place as well as the sticky disk falling off completely. With this new Garmin Portable Friction Mount, I think it is safe to say that I will never have to worry about that again! It always stays in place. No damaging or annoying sticky disk to get in the way, and I know won’t have to worry about my nav ever falling off my mount again. It has a perfect design to work in any car and not slip around. I am so happy about this purchase. It is a great savings since I will no longer be buying replacements like I did with the original mount to safely use my nav as I drive. Don’t hesitate, BUY THIS ITEM. You will be happy you did.

I looked at all the reviews for bathroom scales before deciding on this one and I have to say I’m glad I picked it. The scale works fine and is great for the price I paid. I do agree that it does take some force to turn it on, but it does not deter from its actual use value. Also, I have used other scales and the weight seems pretty accurate. Everything has been great and I recommend this to anyone looking for a great deal on a scale.
