I originally found this bike because I wanted something cheap to use to get to work each day. I found this bike to be cute and cheap; some of the reviews on Target’s website were positive, so I ordered it. The bike arrived in a large, damaged box with all parts except for the instructions. Found a generic instructional video online which I used in putting it together. The long wire pieces used to attach the fenders to the center of the wheels were both off-center and bent, so much so on the rear wheel that it rubbed the tire. The seat, although height adjustable, moves from side to side and there seems to be little that can be done about this. Once assembled and tires inflated to the proper pressure, a large bulb appeared on the rear tire that could not be fixed by deflating the tires and resetting the rubber on the rim. Thankfully I live very close to a great bike shop; the guys first noticed that the rear tire (which was already mounted to the frame when it arrived) was on backwards. Next, they thought the bulbing problem might be a bad tire, so they tried a new one only to discover that the rim itself was smaller than the standard size for any tire. The repair shop guys also noticed a lot of bouncing when the front tire was rotated when mounted on a rack. Upon closer inspection and some measuring, it was discovered that the front rim had a large flat spot so the tire was not round. The guys at the shop recommended that, at the very least, I return the bike but also suggested that I reconsider this particular line/brand because they are cheaply made and partially assembled in a way that is unsafe. I slept on it and the next day returned the bike, spent an additional $40 for a better bike of a different brand and never looked back — love the new bike, feel silly for wasting my time on this one.

First, Edward was a vampire. Well, to be nitpicky, he IS a vampire. But let us continue. He sparkles. Fine, no problem. Some vampires are butterflies and some have heads that fly around. So I can deal. He can read minds. OK, he is supernatural. He likes to play baseball. Fine, a tad weird, but fine.
He wants BLOOD. Well, duh, he is a VAMPIRE. Runs around during daylight. OK, so? The whole sunlight burns vampires thing is pretty new. So the vampire part of the book is, to me, not an issue.
Oh, yes, the werewolves. Well, at least they don’t seem to be having a war going on. World of Darkness, Underworld, every role playing game on the net has THAT! Kind of refreshing to have a werewolf and a vampire in the same space and not have a gunfight/cat fight/sword fight. Male hormones are so overrated.
Romance. Oh yes. Romance – the feeling that you are all alone and nobody understands you. But wait – that guy/girl/monster/computer understands you! Oh joy! Oh no, he/she/it may hate you. Oh, happiness, now he/she/it loves you again! All is well in the world. Oh my, a plain girl who is special because she is thoughtless. Oh, wait, I mean the vampires can’t read her thoughts. And he feels the need to protect her. Carry her. Hand feed her. Well, maybe not that last. Yet.
Still, the book is a good first try. Smashing really, when you remember she is a bestseller right now. But still, it seems too easy to figure out where the story is going to go. The girl is sometimes so stupid and seems to lack a independent thought in her thoughtless head. How fast do they fall in love – a month?
But wait, I forgot. It is a TEEN ROMANCE NOVEL. So maybe I should just give it some slack? Also, as I was given it as a gift, I can’t really complain.

As I am seeking spirituality, I found this to be a most inspiring and informative read. Even though everyone will discover their own interpretation of God’s words, I believe the results will be positive. I ordered Conversations with God, book 2 before finishing book 1.
Nerf Dart Tag Darts

I have had a number of pedometers, I like to wear them to keep me aware of the need to get in my “steps” for the day. This is probably the best one I have had. I love that it can be tucked in my pocket and not have to be upright to correctly measure the steps. It is a little larger than I would like, but the size is more than compensated for by how functional it is. I love knowing how many of my steps were aerobic. It is easy to read, easy to work, and is doing it’s job well. Great buy for me!
Kira Helps A Friend

This one kept appearing in my recommended reads but I kept putting it off. I am now delighted to have read it. Easy to read and powerful in its simplicity, I engaged with the characters…feeling intense hate for some and pain and compassion and hope for others. I both laughed and cried. Well done Kathryn, an excellent book, not entirely ficticious.

I’ve had my kindle for about a month now and love it. I live in a very small town in a river valley where we usually don’t get cell phone reception,and was worried about getting reception to download books. I was very surprised and greatly pleased to have my fears prove to be unfounded. It may take a minute or two longer than most areas since I usually only have 1-2 bars, but I have no trouble. I do advise anyone who likes to read at night to buy a light and if you plan to take it with you a lot to get a cover or sleeve for protection. This is a great device and well worth the money.

Very cool looking scale and easy to reas LED.The drawback is the accuracy. the scale gives the illusion that it is measuring to the nearest 0.1 pounds but it is not. You can test this. If you pick up a light object (less than 1/2 lb ) and get back on the scale, the reading stays the same as when you weighed yourself without the object. I’d estimate the scale actually measures weight accurately to the nearest 0.4 lbs which isn’t great. But if you don’t mind this drawback, everything else about the scale is quite good.

Almost the same basic characteristics than previous versions of Microsoft Windows, some improvements, and I hope I won’t confront the rejections and troubles created by Windows Vista. XP was fantastic.
