All the reviews written before me have said all I wanted to say. I love my 32GB iPod Touch, it is definitely an upgrade from my old 3rd gen nano. The only con I really want to complain about is battery life. But since I purchased it, I have found ways to maximize the battery life and it has made things a lot more enjoyable. I love that it has wi-fi, I love having access to apps, it’s very sleek and lightweight, no FM radio but apps like Pandora make up for that a little bit (mostly because there isn’t anything worth listening to on the radio anyway, but it would be nice to have one.) It’s durable… my son threw it twice and it’s still in perfect condition.

Now… the most important part of the review:

If I had waited a month, I would have been able to buy the new version. And that one has a camera. When I found out the 4th gen was released, I was VERY disappointed.

But overall, it was still a great buy.
Shattered Angels Vol 1

I enjoyed learning more about circuses in the thirties. I usually can’t tolerate animal abuse, but this was so well done I could! Great character development and movement between the past and present.
Yolanda Live 1 Gospel

This is a very good book. It’s a fast read, despite its mammoth size. Granted, it’s no “It” by Stephen King, but it’s a pretty big book at a whopping 498 pages. I think this book could have been a lot better if it had been about a hundred pages less. Here’s my simple breakdown:

PROS:
The book reads fast, so each chapter seems to fly by. The relationships between the characters are real, the dialogue feels real, even the love seems real. Realism keeps a reader glued to the book & this book – despite its obvious vampire plot – is very realistic. It’s also very well written. Stephanie Meyer doesn’t say in ten sentences what she can say in five, and she doesn’t say in five what she can say in one. She’s succinct and an incredible writer. Most of the time. This makes for a quick and satisfying read, with all Bella & Edward’s high highs and low lows feeling familiar and plausible.

CONS:
Too much repetition. In attempt to posit the awkward, clumsy, and so-not-a-supermodel Bella against the suave, uber-hunk vampire Edward, Stephanie Meyer goes too far. My head started to swim after awhile with all the repetition. It’s like this: Bella sees Edward; he’s so handsome and suave and she’s such an awkward clutz! Things are awkward. Then Bella goes home & things with her dad are awkward. Then she goes to school, where, you guessed it, things are awkward. There’s also too much focus on Edward’s good looks. I found it to be clunky and expositional. Edward speaks from ruby red lips and his muscled arms and his chiseled chest, etc. etc. We get it: she’s average at best and he’s just the bee’s knees. We get it.

Also (and this didn’t bother me too much but I feel I have to include it in the “cons” section), I thought that for a downtrodden, sullen, loner with low self-esteem Bella acted awfully rude and arrogant to the kids at her school who were only trying to be nice and befriend her. You can’t get mad that you have no friends and no one understands you when you detach from everyo

Just 1 week after I purchased this Kindle .. out came the Wi-Fi kindle for 50.00 less. Then in another week, they had Wi-Fi as well as free 3G for the same money I paid for 3G only. The newer ones have a better button configuration and no longer have the hideous 5 way button that you have to have fingers the size of a pencil to operate. Moving the curser is slow and somewhat unresponsive which is annoying. A touch screen would eliminate this issue. It would be great if they’re going to upgrade these every week if they’d offer a trade-in plan.

This was the cheapest I have seen this game, and I have been looking for a while. I thought that I was going to have to buy the wii sport. It was nice that it was included.It did not take long to get and it works great.

I was tired of having my GPS falling off the the windshield of my car onto the dashboard. The Garman bean bag mount works well and is easy to install. It seems well made. It makes it much easier to move the GPS from one car to another. The only drawback concerning the product is its appearance on the dash. I don’t think that it is attractive. However, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and this product certainly does what it is supposed to do well.G

I first read “The Catcher…” while in High School as a required reading assignment.
My impression of this story was so great that I started and finished in one go. It is the book that got me interested in reading. As a result, I purchased this book as a gift to my grandson who happens to be an advid reader at the age of 5 years.

I waited a long time to get a Kindle and I am so sorry now that I missed out on all that reading time. I read ALOT and the best feature for me is I won’t have to find book shelf space for the books. Also, I can put all my series books in a collection file and find them when I want to. Wide variety of authors and books available and I have been pleasantly surprised at the amount of free books available. A lot of these are not teaser books either, but the full book. For value I think it is great, ease of use is great (once I got used to the tiny buttons). I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone who is familiar with using a computer and the Internet.
