This book gives sound advice for developing an effective business focused network solution. I especially like the chapters on security, which are practical and concise, offering an effective path for making sense of the all to complex security situation that we find ourselves confronted with in these times. The author puts security issues and threats in an easy-to-understand framework along with examples that help the reader make the connection to their business. Each threat is followed up with a set of solutions that the designer (and the CEO) can use to assess the security interventions that best balance risks and costs for their own business. The creation of a security policy is stressed. A follow-on chapter delves into the details of how the security policy gets translated into the Cisco environment. This book takes the rare but much needed view that network design should be driven from requirements and policy first and design and implementation second. Although the title slots the book in the realm of Cisco network design for small to medium businesses it should be of interest to a wider audience. I count myself fortunate to have crossed paths with this practical and useful book. Hats off to Mr. Rybaczyk for a job well done!

This cleaner is very easy to use and works well – It is a little heavy to move around but only when full of water (and if the tanks were smaller you’d have to keep refilling – so better to be heavy than have to refill every few mins. and I guess you could fill it half way if it was a big deal). The biggests downside is the brushes underneath. They are round spinners and the are are turned by one of the brushes so I’m waiting for that to break and the rotating brushes to stop working. Best part about the machine is the suction – it has a strong suction and leaves the carpet fairly dry.

This product is everything they claim it is. We removed at least a 13 gallon bag of fur from our lab. Even when it seems like no more fur could possibly come out, the furminator finds more.

I recently finished reading the book “Catcher in the Rye” by J.D. Salinger. It was about a teenage boy, Holden Caufield who has gotten kicked out of yet another prep school for failing his classes. While the book was decent, it still had a lot of ups and downs.
I think part of the reason I didn’t like the book is that I am a fourteen year old girl, and I can’t really relate to the events in the book. Too many of the cultural references were before my time, and made it difficult to read at times. I’m also not a fan of books that move slowly, and this book does start off very slow.
There are also things that I liked about the book. I liked how the author wasn’t afraid of how people would react to his book. He just wrote what he wanted. Another good thing about the book is the even when it was moving slowly I wanted to keep reading to find out why it is one of the most banned books in the United States.
